Od 50 °C potrebno je obratiti pozornost na faktor smanjenja tlaka.

Faktor: 0,95 / 0,90 / 0,83
If the hose assembly is being used as steam hose, the maximum operating pressure is 14 bar (203 psi) and the temperature +250 °C (+482 °F)
Faktori korekcije temperature za vodenu paru:
Temp.: 20 °C / 100 °C / 150 °C / 200 °C
Faktor: 1,0 / 0,95 / 0,90 / 0,83.
Kod dinamičkih opterećenja radijus savijanja treba biti najmanje udvostručen. Radijus treba prilagoditi uvjetima.
KTF crijeva nemaju gornji sloj i žice i nisu zaštićene od korozije. Upotreba samog crijeva u sklopu bez odgovarajućih mjera za sprječavanje korozije žica nije dopuštena s obzirom na mogući rizik od ozljeda i može dovesti do kvara sklopa crijeva.
